While underway at 15 knots in clear weather, the ship spotted a small, fast boat with 4 people onboard approaching from the port beam. The boat closed to within 4 nautical miles of the ship's stern quarter before turning away. The master increased speed and altered course slightly to avoid the boat. No attack occurred and no injuries or damages were reported.

    The radar could not detect the boat.
    It was small speed boat with 4
    persons.
    The boat followed and start
    decreasing the distance and come 4
    NM from STB quarter .
    At the point of 3 NM they have

    For the next 2 hrs will keep 75 RPM
    and speed of 17.5 kts and when
    enter Aden gulf decreased to
    required speed of 15.2 kts.
