Situations you may find in your neigbourhood :

1. A single mother – she has not got a car – her child starts school at 9 – she has to be at work at
8.30. She is an excellent cook.

2. An old lady – she has a big garden with lots of fruit trees but she can't look after it anymore :
she has difficulty walking.

3. A boy needs help for his homework. He has a super games console but he is an only child and
has nobody to play with.

4. An old lady – she goes to town every week – she needs help with the shopping.

Useful vocabulary :

look after = s'occuper de


help = aider
take someone to... = emmener quelqu'un à...
need = avoir besoin de
buy = acheter
pick = cueillir
cut the grass = tondre la pelouse
keep him/her company = lui tenir compagnie
share = partager
