1. Introduction
ATAD is a company that provides services about consulting, designing,
manufacturing and assembling preprocessed steel products and high-quality
steel structure.
Founded in 2004, ATAD has completed more than 3.500 building projects in
more than 40 nations with representative offices in Myanmar, Indonesia, Thai
Lan, Philippines, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Uganda.

2. Products and Strategy
ATAD has two main products, which are Preprocessed Steel building and
Steel Structure
a) Preprocessed Steel Building
Preprocessed Steel Building is used for industrial and common
construction such as warehouses, factories, showroom,..
Preprocessed Steel Building can help companies to save money,
improve the speed of construction and provide durability.

b) Steel Structure
Steel Structure is a metal structure formed from steel* members linked
together to transmit and bear forces. Thanks to the high strength of steel,
this structure is very strong and requires less material than other types of
structures such as concrete structures or wooden structures.
In modern construction, steel structures are used for almost all types of
structures including heavy industrial buildings, high-rise buildings,
equipment support systems, infrastructure, bridges, etc. towers, airports,
racking systems…
Steel structures are steel construction materials manufactured with
specific shapes and chemical compositions, in accordance with the
technical requirements of each project.

3. Manufacturing Process
Structural Steel is the main product of ATAD company so in this report
we only consider the production process of Structural Steel.
There are a lot of stages in manufacturing Structural Steel process,
which is summarized in the figure below:

a) Importing Raw Material

- The raw materials are imported from overseas suppliers
- In this stage, the quality of the raw materials is inspected by the
employees
- They have an error level called MCA for controlling the quality of the
materials ,
- Depending on the MCA, they can decide whether to eliminate the
imported raw material or not.
b) Preparing
- In the Preparing stage, there are 3 smaller steps that are Cutting, Drilling
and Sawing
+ Cutting: Steel cutting by CNC automatic cutting machine, can cut
according to design any shape to be cut. All panels are cut to
required size by extreme heat capable of cutting steel sheet up to
80mm thickness.

+ Drilling: After cutting, use the semi-automatic machine to

drill or punch holes in the cut sheets as required.

c) Assembling
- In this stage, structural steels are assembled by using Assembling
machine or Assembling line

d) Visualizing
- After being assembled, the products are visualized carefully to check the
its quality
e) Cleaning
- Next, the surface of the product is cleaning by the ball-shooting
machine.

f) Painting
- After the surface of the product is cleaned, the product experience the
painting process.
- ATAD Steel uses high-pressure industrial coating machines according to
American technology. These structures are then sprayed with gray or red
paint or other special paint as specified by the customer.
- Normally, the structure has 2 layers of coating: the first layer is anti-
lightning paint, followed by coating paint. The thickness of this coating
is about 80μm or more to ensure the long life of the steel structure. In
special cases when customers require a thickness of 100 μm or more,
ATAD will use 3 coats of coating.

g) Delivery
- There are two kinds of delivery in the outbound logistics of ATAD:
1. National delivery:
+ Trucks are used in this situation to transport the finished
goods
+ The finished goods can be packaged into separated pallets
and then transported
2. Overseas delivery:
+ Products are packaged into containers, which are
delivered by vessels
