    AUTOMATIC FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM


    SYSTEM DETAILS
    The KATS-Fire Suppression system is a Automatic Triggering Self
    actuating system that is designed for localized fire suppression. The
    system works by using pressurized Fire detection tubing that is installed
    throughout the risk area. This tubing is heat sensitive and when
    subjected to a temperature above 110? C, or when touched by flame,
    the tube will rupture and release the clean agent trough formed

    INSTALLATION
    Fire Suppression System

    It is mandatory to done installation from KANEX Authorized Personnel


    Only.
    CARE & MAINTENANCE
    Inspect monthly or more frequently when circumstances require by a
    trained professional:
    check that all parts are free from damage or corrosion, cylinders are
    firmly mounted in the bracket and detection tubing are secure and free
    from obstructions.
    Record date of inspection or recharge. If system fails above inspection
    use only a qualified service agency to safely restore system to
    operating condition.
    This unit to be pressurized as intended.
    At least semi-annually, the pressure shall be checked. A cylinder
    shall be refilled or replaced when pressure loss (adjusted for
    KATS

    temperature) exceeds 10%

    WARNING :
    THE BALL VALVE SHALL BE IN THE CLOSED POSITION EXCEPT WHEN THE
    CYLINDER ASSEMBLY IS CONNECTED TO THE PRESSURIZED
    DETECTION/DISCHARGE TUBING OR WHILE THE CYLINDER IS BEING FILLED.
    The discharge of clean agent system to extinguish the fire can result in
    potential hazard to personnel from the natural form of the clean agent or
    : from the product of combustion that result from exposure of agent with fire or
    hot surfaces. unnecessary exposure of personnel either to natural agent or
    Gross Wt. : product of decomposition shall be avoided.
