Recruitment & Selection process:

Kenwood's purpose is to deliver creative, cost-effective human resource programs with demonstrable
outcomes to support the long-term goals of recruiting and retaining a highly qualified diversified staff.
They employ three excellent employee-hiring strategies which are:

1. Internal hiring
2. External hiring
3. Referral hiring

Internal hiring
Before making any attempts to recruit new employees, the company's first strategy is to evaluate its
internal departments' current staff. With the assistance of the HR head, Kenwood’s heads of
departments have the authority to select the members of their teams. The HOD of the department
Informs HR head that we need a person for vacant position. The HR department then promotes the
vacancy internally via emails, WhatsApp groups, and so on. Kenwood prioritizes existing employees
because the Chinese consider that existing employees are their skills inventory. Kenwood accomplishes
this in a variety of methods, including encouraging employees to self-evaluate and reviewing previous
performance reviews of employees. Employees then apply for open positions, and the employer
schedules an interview with them if they meet the requirements. Internal hiring has a one-week
timeframe before moving on to the next strategy.

External hiring
The second strategy is external hiring, in which Kenwood reaches out to potential employees via
headhunters and their official website.
