high-voltage battery (G1/9).
3 Connect power supply to diagnostic unit (2). Use mains cable (6) or 12 V supply cable

9 Select the diagnosis through the appropriate

Further work procedures are menu-assisted.
The fault memory may not be deleted
when the high-voltage battery (G1/9) or high-
voltage battery module (A100) have been
removed.
10 Stop diagnostic system (5).
11 Switch off switch 1 (POWER) on diagnostic
unit (2).
12 Disconnect power supply from diagnostic unit
(2).
13 Remove ground strap of adapter cable (3)
from high-voltage battery module housing
(A100) or high-voltage battery (G1/9).
14 Disconnect adapter cable (3) from high-
voltage battery module (A100) or high-voltage
battery (G1/9) and diagnostic module (2).
15 Disconnect diagnostic unit (2) and diagnostic
system (5) with Vehicle Communication
Interface (4).
