 The Role of Islamic Teachings in the Formation of Attitudes and Behaviors
The development of the era that is increasing day by day has an impact on human life. Many of
them follow the trends out there. Unconsciously, these trends have the potential to have a
negative influence that can slowly erode the human soul. These negative influences include
decreased religious awareness, moral damage, etc. Especially in human attitudes and behavior.
Talking about attitudes and behavior, basically human attitudes and behavior can be formed
because of nature and the environment. Indeed, human nature is to behave well but all that can
change based on the environment. A person who has a stronger heredity than his environment
will not be affected by his environment. Conversely, someone who has a weak heredity
compared to his environment will be affected by his environment.
So this is where Islam has an important role in the formation of human attitudes and behavior.
With faith and piety in a person, it will make pious person. However, it is possible for someone
who has faith and piety in him to become a naughty individual. Faith and piety is what will affect
the good or bad behavior of a person. Therefore, religious education is needed in the formation
of human character
Religion has a very dominant role in the formation of the human personality because religion is
the main source of shaping the human personality, through the cultivation of creed values, and
the practice of worship. so that becomes an obedient and diligent person in carrying out religious
values.
In Islam, character is identical with morality. Morals in Arabic comes from the word “khuluk”
which means behavior, temperament, or character. In terminology, morality is the behavior of a
person who is driven by a fundamental desire to do an action. Someone who behaves both
physically and mentally. it is called a commendable character. Conversely, if someone behaves
badly physically and mentally. it is called despicable morals. That's what is taught in Islam !

 Walk with a simple style
 Speak politely and don't raise your voice
