Batarang tutorial video
Before printing the templates here are a few things you have to pay attention to.
1. Have you unzipped this file already? If yes you can jump to point N°2, If not, you must
do it now before using the templates as you may have issues with the templates if you didn't
unzip it. Here are below 2 quick tutorials on how to do it on Mac and Pc
MAC: https://youtu.be/PGp1daVIBcs
PC: https://youtu.be/XAFwU2BQwHE
2. Now let’s print your templates! First set your printer to print out the templates at 100%
scale without margin of any kind (borderless), that way you're sure to have them at the
😉
correct size. No matter if it crops a little bit some things like the writings on the page, as long
as you have the entire piece printed at 100% scale, you’re good to go! (American format
8.5 × 11 inches or A4 format will do the job just fine!)
3. Pay attention to respecting as much as possible the type and the thickness of the
cardboard (mentioned usually on the top left corner of the templates) there is no need to
have a 100% perfect match but try to use cardboard that has a very similar thickness.
Or try to reach that thickness by flattening the pieces that you have to make them thinner if
they are too thick, or by stacking them one on top of the other to make your cardboard
thicker, if they are too thin.
4. The same way pay attention to respect the direction of the corrugation when it
matters (mentioned on the top left corner too), it may sound pointless for you but it actually
matters a lot for some parts.
