PART 1

One of the most memorable events that happened in my life was when I was in a motorcycle
accident 10 years ago when I was 8 years old. After that event, I changed my mind about my
parents. I was on Cao Thang street to go home. Suddenly a motorbike hit me hard. I was thrown
into the air and fell to the ground. I panicked because everything happened so fast. I was
immediately taken to the hospital by my parents, fortunately I was not seriously injured so I was
able to go home immediately, but what I remember now is the worried eyes of my parents. They
seem very worried if something happens to me. Since then, I know that they really love me and
always care about me.

A: Things were different in the past and they have changed a lot in the last few decades. Do you
think that changed positively or negatively?

B: uhm. I think it's positive. Because nowadays, it is easy for most people to connect with each
other through the Internet. In addition, the world changes more modern.

A: I don't think it's going in a good direction. The more modern we are; the more distance we
have from each other. With the development of technology, people gradually isolate themselves
from society and are almost no longer emotional with the sense of protecting nature because they
try to exploit everything available for profit.

B: Actually, we do it to have a better life. Besides work, on holidays, people often spend time
with family and friends, people can easily contact and connect with people around. If we don't
have time, just turn on the cell phone and make a video call.

A: I accept that: it is convenient in some situations. However, people are becoming more and
more insensitive and we destroy nature, and our habitat. In the past, we were friendly with
nature, wildlife. As a result, we can live in fresh air, fresh air, live longer, and have fewer
diseases.

B: I agree with the environmental issue. I appreciate the effort to reach the modern life.
However, I am not in favor of destroying the environment either.
A: yes, we agree to change but not by any means. We change by protecting all the wonderful
