SELF-HARM

Self-harm or self-injury means hurting yourself on purpose. There are some specific reasons
for self-harm it could be to distract yourself from emotional pain, to release tension, to feel
something and self punishment. We should use the SLCC's core value called Self-discipline the
ability to keep one's emotions in check and overcome one's weaknesses to prevent self-harm.
Maintaining a healthy body and mind is vital to avoiding self-harm, and it can help manage
and prevent it. You should also join in activities and engage in them actively. You should also
manage and cope with stress. You also need to talk to your parents and guidance counselors
about your problems. By doing so, you can prevent doing self-harm.
