 AHADITHS ON ETHICAL VALUE
‫قال النبي صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬

AHADITH NO 1:

)‫ وأحسن بعائلته" (جامع الترمذي‬، ‫أحسن أو أكمل إيمان "هو أحسن سلوك‬.
The one with the best or most complete faith “is the one who is the best in conduct, and the most kind
to his family" (Jami al-Tirmidhi)

EXPLANATION:

In this Hadith the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) tells us about the succession in life is just having a good ethics
and good moral character in our life. He (S.A.W) said that the only key to success in front of Allah is that
the other people didn’t get disturb by our activities such that our activities and other routines are not
harming them. Another important thing that the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) tells us that we have to
be kind with all the peoples especially to our family our parents and our child because without this we
can’t success in our life.

AHADITH NO 2:

")8:73:56 ‫خيركم من أحسن األخالق" (صحيح البخاري‬.

"The best among you are those who have the best manners and character" (Sahih al-Bukhari,
8:73:56).

EXPLANATION:

In this Hadith the Holy Prophet (S.A.W) tells us that the best person near to Almighty Allah is that who
having a great character and manners. Because a man with having a good character is succeed in his life
as well as in front of Almighty Allah .Being a good person it is necessary for us to have a good manners
without all these qualities and capabilities we didn’t succeed in our this life as well as the life that is
permenant and continuous.

AHADITH NO 3:

")‫إني لم أبعث لسبب آخر إال إلتقان صفات الشخصية النبيلة" (موطأ اإلمام مالك‬.
“Verily, I was sent for no other reason, except to perfect the noble traits of character”
(Muwatta Imam Malik)

EXPLANATION:

In this hadith our beloved Rasool(SAW) said that the main purpose of my life is to guide a peoples about
that what is good and what is bad and also tell them what is difference between good and bad deeds
and qualities .He (SAW) said that I have sent by Almighty Allah to tell you about the noble traits of
character that a person should follow them and got success.

AHADITH NO 4:

")62 ، 16 ، ‫ بر‬، ‫ال شيء أثقل من األخالق الرفيعة في ميزان المؤمن في يوم القيامة" (ترمزي‬.
"There is nothing heavier than high ethics in the mizan (balance) of a believer in the Day of
Judgment".(Tirmizi, Birr, 16, 62.)

EXPLANATION:

In the final day of judgement every one is given his mizan which is balance of his good and bad
habits .Those one who having good deeds were sent to Jannah and those who having bad ones were
sent

to hell. He (SAW) said that a man whith a good ethics and deeds with other peoples would succeeded at
the final day of judgment.

AHADITH NO 5:

‫طلب حضرة النبي أخال ًقا عالية من هللا في صالة‬:

"‫ اللهم ابعدني عن السيئات‬.‫ ال أحد إال تقدر األخالق الرفيعة‬، ‫"اللهم ارزقني األخالق الرفيعة‬
Hazrat Prophet asked for high ethics from Allah in a prayer:

"O Allah, grant me high ethics, nobody but you can grant high ethics. O Allah, keep me away from
bad qualities.(Muslim, Misafirun, 201. )

EXPLANATION:

In this hadith the Rasool (SAW) prayed to Almighty Allah for good ethics .He (SAW) said to Allah
that Oh Allah grant me with high ethics such that no one grant with these types and saved me
from bad qualities .These words tell’s us about that we should follow the teaching’s of Holy
Propher(SAW) these are only the ways of our succession.
AHADITH NO 6:
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked by one of his companions:

".)‫ (أجر كل خير على كل حي‬:‫ على اللطف مع الحيوانات؟" فأجاب محمد صلى هللا عليه وسلم‬c‫هل نُكافأ‬
)‫(صحيح البخاري‬.

“…Are we rewarded for kindness towards animals?” Muhammad (peace and blessings be
upon him) replied, “There is a reward for kindness to every living being.” (Sahih al – Bukhari)
EXPLANATION:

In this Hadith one of the companion asked from the Prophet (SAW) about that Oh Prophet (PUBH)can
we got reward on treatment the animal with kindness’ . He (SAW) said that there is a reward for
showing kindness to every living being whether it is animal or human beings because Allah Almighty
loves those who show kindness to his creature and reward him at the day of judgement.

AHADITH NO 7:

َ ‫ِإنَّ هَّللا َ َأ ْو َح ى ِإلَ َّي َأ نْ َت َو‬

‫اض ُع وا َح َّت ى اَل َي ْب ِغ َي َأ َح ٌد َع لَ ى َأ َح ٍد َو اَل َي ْف َخ َر َأ َح ٌد َع لَ ى َأ َح ٍد‬

Verily, Allah has revealed to me that you must be humble towards one another, so that no
one oppresses another or boasts to another.

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2865

EXPLANATION:

In this hadith He(SAW) said that Allah Almighty has revealed on him that oh peoples you have to treat
others with a good qualities and you have to humble towards each other due to which no one can have
access to do circumstances on other peoples. And no one allows to do boast with others. As we see that
in our community the peoples are divided into two groups one who are dominant and others are under
their circumstances and they are boasts by them so we must follow the teaching of Rasool (SAW) and
must avoid from all of these evil sin.

AHADITH NO 8:
Abdullah ibn Amr reported: A man asked the Prophet, “Which Islam is best?” The
Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
 َّ ‫ام َو ت َْق َر ُأ‬
ْ‫الس الَ َم عَلَ ى َم نْ َع َر ْف تَ َو َم نْ لَ ْم ت َْع ِر ف‬ ْ ‫ت‬
َ ‫ُط ِع ُم الطَّ َع‬
To feed the hungry and to greet with peace those you know and those you do not know.
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 28

EXPLANATION:

In this Hadith the companion of Holy Prophet(SAW) asked him that please tell me that which islam is
best He(SAW) replied that that’s one is best which give you order of giving food to hungry peoples and
say salam to those which you know and which you don’t know. This means that by giving food to poors
our pride is break and by saying salam our self respect increases in others person hearts.
