Future of the Earth

How will our planet follow the flow of events in this way, what will happen with us
and what will happen with all of our loved ones, what affects us, and what we can do to
remedy it? For several years the planet has suffered a lot, mainly because of us, by throwing
garbage and polluting our environment we have worn out Mother Nature, but some people do
what is at their disposal to be able to remedy the disasters caused by ourselves.

There are plenty of people who are trying to make this planet a better place with their
influence, fortune, or ideology. A couple of examples of that can be Elon Musk and Bill
Gates.

Elon Musk has spoken often about his vision for a future with less greenhouse- gas
emissions. He mentioned it most recently in the context of Tesla’s (ticker: TSLA) goal to
deliver 20 million electric vehicles a year in the future. He has also founded his space
company SpaceX, in part, to make humanity a multi-planetary species, ensuring the
long-term survival of people. The world currently pumps, roughly, 35 billion metric tons of
carbon dioxide into the atmosphere each year. The carbon-capture equipment currently
installed by those energy companies is currently grabbing 1 to 5 million tons of carbon
dioxide annually. Carbon-capture technology isn’t always front and center in investors’ minds
because there aren’t a lot of carbon-capture investments available. Planting trees, which soak
up carbon dioxide and emit oxygen in the process of photosynthesis, is one carbon-capture
technology, but the scale of global emissions means more techniques are needed. Global
energy giants, including Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Royal Dutch Shell (RDSA), are also
investing in carbon capture and storage projects in hopes of reducing the impact of burning
oil and other fossil fuels. ( Al Root, Jan. 22, 2021)

Bill Gates has seen the damage caused by the growing number of natural disasters
caused by climate change and has along with other influential people he has founded the Bill
and Melinda foundation. This foundation’s goal is the response and assistance to places
affected by natural disasters. (elpais/2021).
 In conclusion, we know that several people are doing what they can to make this
world much better, we were the ones who damaged our ecosystem so it is our responsibility
to make it better every day than it was before, each of them gets up with a purpose and to
leave your mark on this world, so tell me what differentiates you or what prevents you from
being like one of them and helping to remedy the disasters that our race has caused to our
home?
