GUIDELINES FOR THE TEACHER
THIS IS A 1 MINUTE, TIMED, MEASURE.

1. Administer the Letter Sounds assessment first.


a. When each letter is displayed, the student must give the sound of the letter.
b. For vowels both short and long sounds are to be given.
c. For c and g both soft and hard sounds are to be given.
d. Move to the next slide after 5 seconds if the student is unable to give the correct sound.
e. After 1 minute, stop the assessment.

2. Move on to the Letter Name assessment.


f. When each letter is displayed, the student must give the name of the letter.
g. Move to the next slide after 5 seconds if the student is unable to give the correct name.
h. After 1 minute stop the assessment.
