CONTEXTUALIZED SLM ENHANCEMENT NOTES


ENGLISH VI – QUARTER 1 – MODULE 2: Visual Literacy Through Images
Competency: Interpret the meaning suggested in visual media through a focus on visual
elements, for example, line, symbols, colour, gaze, framing and social distance
(EN5VC-IIIf-3.8);
-Describe different forms and conventions of film and moving pictures; and -Analyze the
characters used in print, non-print, and digital materials.

To the Teacher:
1. The enhancements found in this note are based on the SLM/ LAS Feedback as part of Project
DEConGEST (Division Enhancement and Contextualization Geared to Ease and Support
Teachers) of the Division.

2. This enhancement note contains suggested activities in English VI – Quarter 1 – Module 2:


Visual Reality Through Images. Please choose whatever works best for your learners.

3. The use of English Activity Notebook or separate sheets in answering is highly encouraged.
Also, you are expected to assist your pupils to organize their own portfolio of outputs.

4. All pages with the ‘Pupil’s Copy’ label can be reproduced.
