Enhancing Communication Skills

Communication is a practical medium of people’s understanding and making

conversation with one another. It is a part of our lives that we cannot live well or peacefully
without. Building connections is exercising proper communication with its pure, clear message
and delivery for us to break the main core of diversity.

On this training day, it is something a refresh reminder of myself with regards to the

significance of communication. I have reminded on the things that are essential in enhancing
communication, such as how to be a very good communicator, ways of improving
communication skills, and the things that need to be considered in the communication process.
I agree with the resource speaker that a very good communicator is also a great listener at all.
As it says, how can we understand each other if we do not have the ability to listen. I believe
that to be able to master good communication requires an amount of listening as it will lighten
the message along the communication process which it gives a clarity of perspectives. Thus,
communication should not lower down that bring confusion to other people so we can have a
better interaction. Moreover, communication requires powerful skills to become a standard
speaker. Personally, I can say that I am not so efficient enough as a very good communicator as
I still have lots of skills that need to work on like public speaking and communication itself.
However, I am working on it every day, like reading, writing my daily life, and using the
universal language with my friends, as it demands to be practiced and used. On the other hand,
the training course gives me more awareness on the things that need to be considered in the
communication process such as in actions, words, place, and time. These are the basic things
that a very good communicator should consider into.

All in all, it was a great and informative experience to learn how to become a very good
communicator and to enhance my communication skills. It is indeed vital for us to foster good
communication to avoid misunderstandings and chaos in communication. We may be good at
other things, but I hope we do so in developing communication skills because it will help us to
be more amazing people. A good communicator is a great power. Let us be reminded of the
things that need to be considered in communicating for us to add extra ordinary skills.
Additionally, we may become good communicators who force clarity and not confusion.
