Introduction

This is study aims to find out if there is a causal relationship between educational

background and employment? Recent study(OECD,2012) shows that Education has a

substantial impact on employment prospects. On average across OECD countries, 83% of

the population with tertiary education is employed. In Iceland,Norway, Sweden and

Switzerland, the average employment rate of tertiary-educated individuals is over 88%.

The OECD average falls to about 74% for people with upper secondary and post

secondary non-tertiary education and to just below 56% for those without an upper

secondary education.Although the gap narrows among people with higher levels of

education, the employment rate of women is far below that of me.Among those with only

a lower secondary education, the employment rate is 69% for men and 49% for women;

among those with university level education and advanced research programmers ,this

rises to 88% for men and 79% for women at all levels of education.

Being that’s the case that education and employment are like siblings you could say, but

how this so called education had a deep root on employment. Such that even your not or

didn’t attend education you can go and get employed just buy having a worth of

experience on that field your applying, see!. But here’s the catch let’s say you have

experience, okay that’s great, but some job, work, anything you want to call it need

experience and educational background but why? While efforts being made policy’s, law,

act etc to even a person that did not attend or get education can go and find work like

livelihood programs that’s going around in our country and giving opportunities to people

The input of the study focuses on the relationship wherein the researcher includes the

participants. Through the use of questionnaires encompassing close and open ended

questions and the researchers obtained the needed information. The output of the study
contained the major impact of educational background for getting to be employed. The

output further contains the factors that why there are connected.

Statement of the problem

This study was conducted in order to find out the causal relationship of Educational

Background to employment.

Specifically it attempts to answer the following.

The relationship between educational background and employment?

Is there any upper hand in formal and informal education, in job application?

And how maNy in the group that have educational background?

Significance of the study

This study aims to the connection or relationship between the Educational Background to

unemployment. This study will provide us the information we needed to solve the

following questions. The questions may helps us to understand what’s happening

between, and you as listener may pick up and get a good lesson from it. We choose this

topic to study such that education and unemployment is a hot topic that always talking

about whether you are on your home or on public.

Scope and limitations of the study

The primary point of the study is to determine the causal relationship of educational

background to unemployment among the citizen of barangay villaflor purok 5,san

Isidro,isabela .

The respondent are the citizen the results based on the questioner that will be ask onto the

citezen.This study will focus on finding the relation between the two and honesty find

whether it has any particular upper on having or not having educational background to be

employed. In conducting the study, the researchers may encounter problems in

administering the questionnaires regarding the time of the participants/citizen, some of

the respondents may not able to answer seriously and with honesty and some may

discontinue answering.

Definition of terms
Employable: suitable for paid work.

Unemployment: the situation of not having a job that provides money, or the number of

people in this situation at any time

Causal: expressing or indicating a cause.

Educational Background: Your resume or application probably includes a section

dedicated to your educational background.

Applicant: a person who makes a formal application for something, especially a job.
