In the present age of advanced technology, the youths of

the present generation will all be familiar with social media.
Even small children are familiar with the more popular social
media sites such as YouTube.  

Let's get some perspective. Statistically, there are

approximately 2.62 BILLION users on social media in the
world. So that's potentially 2.62 billion people that you are
able to connect and market your school to for FREE!
Realistically your school probably will not reach that number
but it is a figure that you cannot ignore.

It will be an understatement if I say that social media is

taking over the times and lives of the youths. Almost
everyone is familiar with it, FaceBook, YouTube, Snap-chat,
Twitter and Instagram. Almost all office work can't be done
without the use of the internet.  

Many teachers find social networking a great way to

expand their own learning and discover new resources. For
educators, social media can be beneficial in numerous ways
such as you can keep up to date with the latest information,
ideas and “best practices” in the sector. For example, by
following helpful Twitter accounts , which post relevant
content that helps teachers to gain knowledge and inspiration
for their classroom.

In using social media you are able to teach the student to

have a positive attitude towards technology. How to use or
how not to use Social Media and how to stay safe online.
Educating young people how to use these platforms and the
internet properly is the key to preventing children missusing
and protecting them in the future. Doing this will create a
safer culture online because it is not going away ,but
educating young people is the way forward! You actually
have a huge opportunity to influence for good and that has to
be a key benefits of social media in school.

For educational purposes, considering the advanced

times, there is a need for the use of these social medias in
schools. It will help the students in making their work easier,
the simplification of their learning process. Not only that, it
will also enhance their learning style, social media being
loaded with interactive as well as attractive ways of learning.

If students are given the chance to use Social media in

their learning process, we can be sure to see a betterment in
their performance. But all things considered, it is also needed
to implement this with moderation. Use of social media to a
certain extent will be the best possible approach. Only then
there will be harmony in the balance between academics and
the technological use of social media.

many benefits of social media in school! You're probably
