Knowledge, skills, attitudes, and beliefs are all measured through assessment, which is a systematic process of capturing and using empirical evidence. Teachers attempt to improve a student’s learning path by administering the assessment. On the other hand, evaluation focuses on grades, which may reflect classroom factors other than course content and skill level. An evaluation can be used to assess the quality of instruction as a last check. It’s all about the product. As a result, the fundamental question is: “What have we learned?” in a nutshell, evaluation is a form of judgment. For example you’re given a flower. The evaluation is the flower is purple and is too short with not enough leaves. The assessment is you’re going to give the flower some water to improve its growth.
