Makeup is being used from past 6000 years

(4000BCE) but as everything else it has
changed and developed over time.

Use of makeup in Indian movies has been

there since the very start but as you may
except the way of using and applying are
not same in any way.

What We are going to look at is how use
of make up has changed in movies from
1950’s to modern era

During 1950’s the use of makeup was

much heavier compared to today In those
time cosmetics like Heavy kajal, Artificial
kajal, Earrings hanging down to the neck
were ruling the industry
Use of Other cosmetics like Bindi, Putting flowers on
hairs, nose pins etc. has almost disappeared
nowadays
