Statement of the Problem and the Hypothesis

This study aimed to find out the Challenges Encountered of working

Students taking Bachelor of Science in Criminology Course in Polytechnic

College of La Union for S.Y 2021-2022.

Specifically, the study sought to find answers to the following questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of the working students as to:

1.2 Sex

1.3 Civil Status

1.4 Years of Working

1.5 Job Position

2. How do the respondents assess the factors affecting the learning

performance of the working student of PCLU in terms of the

following:

2.1. Time management

2.2. Work Load; and

2.3. Financial Condition

3. Is there any significant differences on the assessment mode by the

respondents on the work performance of working student in relation

to the above mentioned variables?

4. What are the problems encountered by the respondents on the work

performance of working students in relation to the above cited

variables?

Hypothesis

Based on the specific problem stated, the null hypothesis is hereby given.

There is no significant relationship between the challenges encountered by

Bachelor of science in Criminology working students and those of non-

working students.
