The graph shows the birth rates between China and the USA during the period

from 1920 to 2000.It is clear that, the rate of birth rose considerably and had a
different amount in both countries. However, the birth rate of the USA in most
years was higher than that of China.
The birth estimate in the USA in the 1920 - 1935 period fluctuated around 12 %
before falling dramatically to below 5% in 1945. In contrast, there was a
significant increase of 15% in the birth rate in 1940 and it was reached a peak at
15% in 1955. Moreover, the rate of birth stood at 5% during from 1940 to 1945.
This figure for USA dropped gradually to 3% in 2000
Over the same period, the birth rate in China varied more significantly than in
the US. The rate of birth fluctuated between 11% and 13% from 1920 to 1940.
In 1945 witnessed a decline substantial to exactly 5% in 1945 .This figure
achieved an impressive rise to 20% in 1950 but it was lost momentum and
started to decline steadily 7% in 2000.
