The bar chart provides information on the
transformation of the rate of people who
were born in and outside Australia living
in three parts: urban, rural, and cities
through 15 years. Generally, the rate of
people living in the cities took the lead in
both groups and years. And the amount
of living in rural areas dropped
significantly from 1995 to 2010.
In detail, in 1995, the proportion of people
who were born outside Australia living in
the cities was higher than that in the
opposite group and topped the chart with
60%. Followed by the rate of rural areas
life with exactly 40% of people born in
other countries and about 30% of that
born in Australia. However, the rate of
people born in Australia and living in town
witnessed an opposite picture was the
only figure which has higher two times
than that in the contrary group.
After 15 years, as can be seen from the
chart, a similar pattern appeared in this
year. The rate of city life still topped the
chart and tended to strongly jump,
increased more than 20% in each group.
Interestingly, the rate of rural areas fell
significantly, dropped eight times of group
born outside Australia. Besides, the
proportion of living in town witnessed a
slight decrease, that in group born in
Australia was higher than group born in
other countries approximately 10%.
