Reflection about Classroom Management

Classroom management is a method, as well as a set of skills and approaches, that

educators and institutions utilize to help students behave appropriately in the classroom.
Classroom management refers to the approach of teachers take to create and maintain an
environment that promotes students' academic success as well as their social, emotional, and
moral development. In other words, the purpose of classroom management is not to maintain
order for the sake of keeping order, but to keep the peace for the sake of learning.

For me, classroom management is one of the most essential abilities a teacher can
have, and one of the most significant attributes a classroom should have.  It is essential to
maintain a safe, positive environment in the classroom, which many students do not have at
home. Classroom management promotes active learning and student involvement. The
appropriate classroom management produces an excellent learning environment. The goal of
classroom management is to keep things running well in the classroom. When a classroom is
well-managed, it fosters an environment in which students are focused and a good
environment exists, allowing for classroom development. The first day your students walk
into your classroom, you should begin managing them. When the classroom is organized, the
students and you are both on the same page. It is difficult for a teacher to recover control of
their classroom once they have lost it. There should be structure, student involvement, and
the teacher should remain calm and utilize different teaching techniques in order to have a
successful and well-managed classroom.
