Hi Dylan! How are you? I didn’t know you were moving to Buenos Aires., Tthat are great news!

The
apartment looks really cool in the photos (love your clock by the way). How is it going for you in the new
city? Are you settled in?

Congratulations on your new job as well! Where are you starting? I too have just started a new one in an
IT company. It has been great so far; with a few challenges and nice people. Also, I’ve been doing much
less overtime that in the previous place, allowing me to start an English course I’m currently taking.

On other news, I don’t know if you’ve heard but Gabi is getting married in October! I’ve been invited to
the wedding, which it’s in Tucuman, so I’m planning to take the opportunity to get to know the city. The
only downside it’s that I must buy a suit. The invitation says “formal dress code” so a Social Distortion t-
shirt will probably not be nice received. LOL

It’s been ages since the last time we talked. What else have you been doing? I’d love to see us in person
to catch up. I know a bar called Zeta that you’ll adore. Maybe on Monday after work? Let me know.

Cheers!

Great tone and overall expression! Careful with some little details. Notice the redundant “it” after
“which” and after “downside” in the third paragraph.
