Activities Day 1
 Have students recall the previous lesson
 Let students identify and differentiate types of speech context
through the examples to be given
 Discuss the types of speech context
 Have students give their own examples of each type based on
their day-to-day experiences
Activities Day 2
Group the students into 5 and each will be given one of the following
activities:
 Group 1: Compose a two-minute inspirational song for the
COVID-19 patients
 Group 2: Record a five-minute video or audio about one of
one’s hobbies or daily routine
 Group 3: Write a journal for two days about one’s goals and
reflections in life
 Group 4: Video yourself and make a monologue about one’s
feelings, questions and challenges.
 Group 5: Download a video from the internet and identify and
analyze the type of speech context used
Activities Day 3
 Have the students present their group activities. Rubrics will be
presented to the students.
Activities Day 4
 Let students give insights about the pictures to be shown.
 Let students identify the different speech styles based on the
examples
 Let students do Activity 3: Identifying Speech Styles
