Mechanics:
(5 minutes) 1. Students will pass the ball while playing the music.
2. When the music stops, the student who has the ball in his/her
hand will be asked to answer the following questions.
Questions:
1. What is freedom?
2. What is the connection between freedom and choices?
3. Explain: Choices have consequences

Establishing a purpose SONG ANALYSIS, “ANAK”


for the lesson
1. The students will listen to the song, “Anak”
(10 minutes) 2. After the listening to the music, the students will be divided into
four groups.

3. Then, each group is tasked to answer the following questions:


a. What is the title of the song?
b. What words or lines in the song touched you most? Why?
4. The students will write their answer in a white cartolina.
5. A representative from each group will share their answers to the
class.

Activity: The class will be divided into three groups. They will be given and

Abstraction The teacher shall discuss the following:

(13 minutes) 1. Freedom is experienced through the act of making choices.


2. The exercise of freedom brings about responsibility to uphold the
freedom of others.
3. Freedom of choice has its consequences.

The teacher then facilitates the students to relate instances where they
exercise their freedom of choice and its consequences.

Application Group Activity: Role-Play

(10 minutes) 1. Students will be divided into three groups.


2. They will think of an experience of a teenager that shows the
freedom of choice and its consequences.
3. They will dramatize the output of the activity.
Assessment Reflection Paper

(10 minutes) Guide Question:

a. What was the most significant decision that you have made in
your life so far? Describe how this has affected you?

Students will write in a one whole sheet of paper their answers to the
abovementioned questions.

Assignment Students are tasked to read/research about intersubjectivity and


prepare for oral recitation tomorrow.
