Base on this article answer the following guide question :
1. How did social networking help in the Philippine elections?
"In the Philippine elections, social networking or media platforms had helped in
tracking voting results via online surveys, tracking the situation and recording
anomalies, and assisting people in deciding which president or candidate to vote
for (by checking on their campaign ads which can enlighten who has the best quality
which fit). Finally , it has used as a"
platform for a cost-effective and low-cost campaign advertisement.
2. How did the Asia Foundation help the advocacies of some human rights-
based organizations?
"Asia Foundation has a long history of working with organizations that seek to
advance through technology , including sponsor ing the first Philippine Slogging
Summit in May 2005. Five years later, in a fast changing social media ecosystem,
they helped civil society organizations use technology to reach out to the genera l
public, as part of human rights advocacy work"
