Event Title: STI FOOD FAIR COMPETITION

Intended for: All BSBA, BSHM, and BSCM Students enrolled in The Entrepreneurial Mind course

Description: The STI Food Fair Competition is a contest that pits student-run businesses against each other
to determine who gets to continue operating until the end of the school year and keep the
profits.

General Qualifications:
1. Participating teams must have a minimum of five (5) and a maximum of six (6)
student members.
2. Students under the aforementioned programs who chose food as their product
are automatically included in the competition.
3. Participating groups will undergo the consultation process regarding their chosen
product, marketing strategies, and business implementation.

Product Qualifications:
1. The chosen food product must have the following qualifications:
• New/original
• Healthy
• Inspiring
2. Since this activity is considered a Performance Task, students must be the one to
prepare the food products.

Consultation:
1. During the consultation, participating groups will be guided on the following:
• Business plan improvements
• Social media marketing strategies
• Generation of sales reports
• Environmental sustainability of their product packaging

Competition Round:
1. The participating groups will be given two (2) weeks to implement their business
plans through online selling.
2. The groups must fill out a sales report daily.
3. The group who received the highest sales will be considered winner of the
competition.

Post-competition Round: Sales report


1. The groups must then submit these reports to their respective teachers.
2. The consolidated sales report file must then be submitted to the Student Affairs
Officer (SAO) of their school.
3. A group that does not submit its sales reports will no longer have the opportunity
to win the competition.
4. The top 3 earners per school will be declared the winners by the SAO through
eLMS announcements and by notifying their respective teachers.
Schedule: Submission of entries Entrepreneurial week until
November 29, 2022

Announcements of official participants December 12, 2022
Start of online marketing period for December 19, 2022
