The students tend to show disinterest because of two main
causes Lack of concentration Lack of involvment In order to make them concentrate in the lesson. We have to begin the lesson interestingly like showing them videos and doing fun activities related to the topic. We have to choose the reluctant students as the leader of the groups, to keep them stay engaged. If the student keeps the same attitude still, there is a need for us to speak to them personally for his/her inattentiveness in the class. We have to check if they have any personal issues or family problems, ensure whether they feel safe in the class or feel shy to interact. As a teacher, we have to help them find solution to their problem. Lessons should be fabricated into stories and interesting points for the students to capture it and nurture from it. After each class, the students should be asked to summarize the content taught on the day. Learning should be connected to real life. A chance should be granted for the students to share their ideas, thoughts and doubts. Quiz time- At the end of each session, we have to spare 5 mins to conduct quiz in the class. Following this regularly, activates the students to stay attentive in the class. Friendly competition motivates the kids to listen the class and find answers to the questions raised.
