WHY: I am pursuing YCD because of my passion for education but love of nontraditional classroom teaching opportunities and

psychology. I started this semester in English education because of my love of the relationship between language arts and the brain,

but now I am channeling that love into my sociology and social work studies.

What: I want to continue my studies in school psychology through graduate school, and involve myself in the community through

health education. My ideal career involves school counseling, sex education, crisis prevention, and mental health care.

How: I want to be better equipped to serve the youth in my community by studying the brain, diverse learning styles, and different

human experiences that I will see in my career.
