Individualized Professional Development Plan

Name: Irene Tragesser Major: Elementary Education with a Minor in Mild Intervention

Start with your WHY: Why are you pursuing this degree? What do you want the outcome to be? How are you
going to work toward making that outcome possible? **Is the outcome directly related to your WHY?
WHY: I want to make a difference in a child’s life the same way my teachers did during my education journey. I

want to pass down what I have been given from education because it was impactful for me and made me who I

am today.

What: I want to be in a position where I am working with students in an educational setting. Right now, the

classroom is the most ideal setting, but I am open to other opportunities that come my way that might not even

be on my radar.

How: To make this possible I will continue to pursue education at Butler. Already in 199, I have learned about so

many more educational roles outside of the traditional classroom setting and that excites me. I want to keep an

open mind to what is out there to find the best place for me to fit when I am ready to become an educator.
