WHY are you pursuing this degree?


I have grown up in the same school environment my whole life. I was surrounded by teachers my whole life
who were family friends, my godmother, and my brother's best friend's parents. I was always surrounded by teachers
who cared about me whether I was in school or out of school and I think that is a huge part of why I want to pursue
this degree. I have also worked in a daycare and nursery and that made me so confident on wanting to be an
elementary education teacher. I love the age of these kids and I love the idea of teaching kids who want to learn at
that age. I want to help students learn but most importantly have fun while learning.

WHAT do you want the outcome to be?


I want to develop a positive relationship with all my students and be a helper for them whether it is in school
or out of school. I also want to have a classroom that is welcoming and easy to focus on and understand what is
being taught. I want to make it a comfortable environment for my future students and for them to feel safe. My
outcome will be that I will teach at my best and make my students feel safe while also learning in many different
ways. They will learn with games, projects, readings, art, small group, and building relationships. I want my students
to love what they are learning, and I will make that possible.

HOW are you going to work toward making that outcome possible?
I will work to be the best educator I can be. I will show my true self and focus on making my future students
learn the best they can. I will learn from my classes to make this outcome possible. I will remember what I learn and
use it with my future students.
