In France, the French newspaper Le Figaro wrote on 21/10/1973 that "Egypt and its successor
seven thousand years of civilization are engaged in a long-term war with Israel, which is fighting
today to live tomorrow, and then never thinks about what its situation may become in the
relatively distant future."

As the Algerian newspaper Al-Mujahid wrote on October 23, 1973, it says: “The entire Arab
nation today feels great pride and deep thanks to the armies of Egypt and Syria, which achieved
for the Arabs the first irreversible victory, and whatever the final results of the battle will remain,
the fact that it ended the humiliation of 1967, and renewed Arab dignity.

Finally, the Daily Telegraph newspaper in Cairo published an article by Harold Seif, its
correspondent, on October 29, 1973, in which she wrote: “The first six hours of October 6, when
the Egyptian army crossed the Suez Canal and stormed the Bar-Lev Line, changed the course
of history for Egypt. for the Middle East".

As for the US Reuters news agency, its correspondent reported on the third day of the war, "We
were astonished by what we saw in front of us of the wreckage scattered in the desert sands of
all kinds of equipment, including Israeli tanks, artillery and vehicles, as I saw Israeli shoes left on
the Bar-Lev line.

According to the American magazine Newsweek, it was published on its pages saying:
"Every passing day shatters the myths that have been built since Israel's victory in
1967, and there was a myth first saying that the Arabs are not warriors and that the
Israeli is Superman, but the war proved otherwise."
