Objectives: Reviewing of vocabulary, sentence construction, and phonics.

Vocabulary and Sentence Pattern


Activity #1: Bring Me!
Materials Needed:
Flashcards
Book, Marker, Pen, Ruler, Eraser
Instructions:
1. Students will be divided into two teams: boys, and girls.
2. Each group will have representatives in each round. Each representative will be asked to
stay at the back.
3. Using the materials provided for each team, each representative must come forward
and bring the thing being asked by the teacher and as shown in the flashcard.

Example: If the teacher says, bring me a ruler. The teacher will raise the flashcard showing the
word ruler. The students will be given 3 seconds to come forward and say, “It’s a ruler.” out
loud. The first representative to come forward and say the correct answer in a complete
sentence gets the point.

Activity #2: Find the owner!


Materials Needed:
Students’ pen, pencil, ruler, marker, and eraser.
Instructions:
1. Students will be divided into two groups; each group will choose one representative.
One group will provide the material and the other group will ask a representative to
look for the owner of the material in the other group.
2. Each representative will have to ask each member of the other group “Is this your___?”
3. The rest of the students will have to answer “No, it’s not his/her____. If the
representative asked the wrong person.
4. If the representative found the owner, the owner will have to answer “Yes, it’s my ____”

Phonics and Vocabulary


Activity #3: Write it with your Body!

Materials Needed:
Whiteboards, markers, and ipads.
Instructions:
1. Students will be divided into four groups; each group will be assigned one letter.
2. Within 2 minutes, each group must write down on their whiteboards as many words
starting with their letter.
3. Once 2 minutes is over, each group must present their letter by writing it with their
body.
4. Then, as a group they will read all the words they have written out loud.
