At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
a. identify the kinds of verbs;
b. appreciate the importance of kinds of verbs through “Alert alert”; and
c. create sentences using the different kinds of verbs.

C. Lesson Proper
Presentation of the topic and learning objectives.
a. Activity "Treasure Hunt"
Instructions:
The teacher divides the class into 3 groups.
Each group will have to search around the classroom for the missing
treasures.
Once they find the treasures they will need to shout “Paro paro G!”
then the teacher will ask them brief questions.
The first group to finish will be given 15 points, 10 points for the
second group and 5 points for the last group.
b. Analysis
The teacher will briefly discuss the different kinds of verbs.
Guide Questions:
What are the importance of the different kinds of verbs?
Why is it important to know the different kinds of verbs?
What would communication be like without verbs?
Guide Questions:
What are the different kinds of verbs?
Can you distinguish the difference between transitive and intransitive
verbs?
What is the purpose of using linking verb?
d. Application
Instructions:
Individually, in a one whole sheet of paper the students will create at
least 3 sentences using each of the different kinds of verbs..
The answers will be graded according to the criteria below:
V. Assignment
Instruction: Research the other different types of adjectives and write their
definitions and provide at least three examples each. To be submitted on the next
meeting.
