● How much of an individual are you?

Rate your individualism on the following

scale. Then explain why you rated yourself the way you did. Be sure to give
some concrete examples to support your assertion about yourself.

I would say I am only somewhat individualistic. I have been a loner for my entire life. Growing up
my father was negligent, leaving for months at a time in the navy and my mother was always
more focussed on my sisters. I taught myself to cook in a dutch oven when I was ten. I’ve never
had more than one friend at a time and they never last more than a few years. I hike and
backpack and camp solo on a regular basis and I enjoy the sense of self reliance I get from
those activities. When I want something I get it myself only relying on others for advice rather
than actual aid. The one exception to this is that I live at home with my mother but even then I
spend most of my time alone and rarely interact with the rest of my family. My hope Is to
become a game warden or national park ranger and eventually learn to live off the grid in the
wilderness. I do not believe humankind is worth staying around. You have ruined the earth with
your massive uncaring communities. When humans get together they do nothing but make
more humans and destroy the rest of the animal kingdom. I will not be part of it. Even if that
means being alone the rest of my life. Ive been alone so far and it hasn't hurt me.
