Example papers show roughly what type of information and how the information should be

included but for this specific project please find below. Please also look at example papers as well
as brief, which shows the type of information that needs to be included in each section. I can
provide a secondary quantitative research paper. Please look at brief as well for word counts for
each section, this is only a guide so some sections can be over or less with consideration to the
section.

Theoretical information needs to link back so in discussions this would need to link back to the
literature review theories discovered.

Abstract

Not included in word count but would be done after the other information is done

Introduction

First part

I would like the introduction to talk about the practical and academic aspect of the research so this
would give an introduction into the research question. So, it would talk about what Brexit and covid
is (not that many words really brief information). It would also include information about how Brexit
has caused the shortages of food so could talk about how visa have been more difficult to gain due
to leaving the EU and covid-19 causing workers being sick and not being able to work so shortages of
labours and how essential foods are struggling to be delivered to supermarkets, which increases
volatility in the food supply chain. And talk about how this report will look into consumer buying
behaviours.

Second part

What will be explored through the research so this would be talking about consumer behaviour will
be looked at and how it has affected during covid-19 and Brexit and the research aim is to identify
the causes of peoples buying behaviour changes. Could also say the primary focus is looking at
shortages and issues occurred due to the leave from the EU.

Third part

How has this contributed to an academic viewpoint?

Does it add to current literature?

Has this been explored? If not say that it could add to current literature as its not been fully
investigated.

What will it look into and how will it help in an academic viewpoint?

How will the findings help? Will it help in further studies? Raise awareness?

Fourth part

Data collection how will data be collected. Where will data results come from?

Type of data so it would be quantitative data looking at statistics

What will this data show?

Last part for introduction

Brief ending stating what will be included in this report.

Second section of the report is about academic literature which looking at theoretical frameworks,
third part research question, aims, hypothesis (if any), part four research methodologies, part five
discuss and evaluate the findings of the study and last section conclusions and recommendation
along with limitations and further research.

Literature review

2)Follow up the above searching, read the first paper, get some ideas; read the fifth paper, young
and green, a study of consumers perceptions and reported purchasing behaviour towards organic
food, get some ideas. Read about ten papers that are all related to food consumers' buying
behaviour. Summarize the keywords or key themes from each paper and highlight them. You will use
these in your literature review.

So, this would look at academic papers and would find key information and compare to one another
about what is being talked about.

Start to structure the LR: 2.1 introduction (structure of LR). 2.2 consumer buying behaviour (could be
linked to marketing about consumer buying behaviour if information is found). 2.3 consumer buying
behaviour in the food industry (check no.2 knowledge). 2.4 Covid-19 impacts the food industry
(check no.2). 2.5 summarise your above literature and design the conceptual framework.

Research question

Methodology
In the example papers this shows roughly what needs to be included so an introduction for
methodology, research approach, research design, data selection and collection, how data has been
analysed and limitations of that research method.

Findings

Should be quantitative research so I provided one link example which could be used for this, tables
can be used. Tables are not included in the word count as well. So I would like information such as
showing the shortages of food as well as how the consumers are buying have changed for example
how they have been buying more tin food and frozen foods. Please note no journals are allowed.
Only information from publicly available sources so News articles that operate in the UK,
Government websites

Could talk about the causes such as shortages of lorry drivers, etc, provided evidence could find
statistical information of the shortage.
