QUARTER 4/WEEK 1/DAYS 1-4

INTRODUCTION

Often, we are asked to reflect on our own learning experiences. This involves making
connections between my learning and the lessons taught to us. This makes me examine the
way how I learn. Without delving into the depths of a knowledge, we cannot provide insight
into what we have learned. In the four days we discussed various lessons, I discovered a lot of
knowledge. I can say it is beneficial and will be used later in my study journey. On the first day,
we studied research on current relevant issues in today’s era. We discussed what research
really is and the steps and methods of its process. The next day, we tackled about the
difference of research, campaigns and advocacies. We have also learned about their purposes
and objectives. Thirdly, we differentiated the primary and secondary sources of information
depending on their originality of information. Last lesson we discussed about is the
informations we can gather from various websites around the internet. Other than that, we
also talked about the benefits we can get from it and how to apply them in everyday life.

BODY

This week, as we studied about various lessons, I gained insights I can use to further expand
my knowledge. This new knowledge made me understand the objectives of each lesson
discussed. One example of what I have learned is that research expands lur knowledge about a
certain topic. It requires an appropriate method to use to figure out the result. It enhances and
advances our learning about different concepts and ideas. I have also learned that advocacies
are essential for a reason that it ensures the ability of society to be heard about significant
issues. Advocacies are also used to promote and protect the rights of individuals. Like advocacy,
campaigns also gives people the ability to control their social presence. Campaigns are used to
demonstrate public concerns. Our lessons will not lose the discussion about primary and
secondary sources of information. Although identifying primary and secondary sources may be
difficult, it’s beneficial since I get to know the proximities of informations. Primary sources are
used as an evidence in theories and used to gain perspectives about a topic. Secondary sources
may offer personal perspectives and offers in-depth analyses of primary source. The last of all is
the informations we can get from internet from different websites. Internet is a functional tool
as it makes it easier for us to seek informations we need. It provides not only entertainment but
also academic informations as well. In this lesson, I realized I should be careful about using the
internet as a source of information because not everything here is legit. We must be able to
find a valid source because not all websites on the internet provide legit information.

CONCLUSION

The lessons discussed this week is invaluable and have built crucial learning for a student like
me. The discussions gave a detailed analysis of every topics. The knowledge I have gathered this
week gave answers to my unknown questions and filled gap in my knowledge. It has been
necessary for learning new skills I can use to expand the knowledge I have. Not only will it be
useful in my studies but I will take it into the future as well. Besides, I use it in daily routine
because it can be used in tasks applicable to real life situations.
