STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

(MS Structural Engineering)

My interest in Civil engineering is a direct consequence of a childhood desire to

understand the world construction around me. My imagination was aroused and
interest piqued when I spent some of my prepubescent years with my brother who
work for the construction company. This was my introduction to the world of big,
heavy construction equipment and the Civil engineering behind them. Coupled with
a reading habit that led me to the works in Civil engineering Labs of Khwaja Fareed
University Rahim Yar Khan urge me for further resolved to study civil engineering.

I'm applying to the Masters in Structural Engineering program at UNIVERSITY

OF PECS because the course curriculum piqued my interest with its breadth. The
curriculum has not shied away from introducing experimental and cutting-edge
technologies while remaining focused on traditional and time-tested practices. For
an ambitious undergraduate like myself, the prospect of interning at a top-tier
construction firm is very appealing. Weighing these factors against the eminence of
the faculty, I determined that this program is the best fit for me to advance in my
career.

After finishing this course, I plan to return to Pakistan and begin my career as a
professional Structural engineer. Your university's training will provide me with a
solid foundation on which to build the edifice of my career. I am hopeful that you
will grant me the honor of pursuing my Master's Degree at your esteemed university.
