1. Erigasi Arjun - Born 2003


He is the reigning National chess
champion 2022 with a world ranking #44 in
the Standard Open, 22nd in the
Rapid chess, 14th in the Blitz Open
category. He earned the title
of grandmaster at the age of 14
years.

2. Dommaraju Gukesh- born 2006

Gukesh D became GM at the age of 12


years, 7 months, and 17 days. He recently won the Gijon Chess Masters title at
Gijon. His world ranking currently at 54th in standard open category.

3. NIHAL SARIN- born 2004

Nihal Sarin is an Indian chess prodigy who became a GM at the age of 14. He is also
the third youngest player in history to cross the Elo rating mark of 2600,
accomplishing this feat at age 14.

4. Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu- born 2005

Praggnanandhaa R. earned the GM title at 12 years of age. He defeated the World


Chess champion Magnus Carlsen, Norway, at the age of 16 at the Airthings Masters
Rapid Online Chess tournament
in February 2022.
5. Raunak Sadhwani-born 2005

Raunak Sadhwani, a chess prodigy, who achieved the title of GM at age 13. In 2018,
at the Isle of Man Chess
Tournament, the youngster could not convert the game to a win, but he gave the
legend Viswanathan Anand a proper scare. Can we remove this slide. I don’t think its
substantial and 8 slides seems good enough.

6. Vantika Agarwal- born 2002


Vantika Agrawal scored her final
WGM-norm in Vezerkepzo GM August
2021. She was part of the Olympiad gold winning
Indian chess team 2020, and was the
National Senior Women Champion 2021.

7. Divya Deshmukh- born 2005

WGM Divya Deshmukh was part of


the gold medal-winning FIDE Online
Chess Olympiad 2020 team. She is
the reigning National Women’s Chess
Champion 2022. She is in team B of the Chess
Olympiad, July 2022.

8. Priyanka Nutakki- born 2002

WGM Priyanka Nutakki stands at rank 23 in


the World Woman Standard format Chess.
She holds the record of six gold
medals from all the three categories of
Standard, Rapid and Blitz U-10 Asian Youth
Chess Championships held at Hikkaduwa,
Sri Lanka.

9. Aryan Chopra-born 2001

Aryan Chopra achieved his GM


title in 2016 at the age of 14 years, 9
months and 3 days, playing less than
50 events. Aryan won Gold at the Commonwealth
Chess Championship in the under-10 category, when he was just 8 years old.
