Aman Kadyan began playing taekwondo at age 14 and joined the Peace Taekwondo Academy in New Delhi under two-time world champion Mr. Sayed Hassan Rezai. Through his training and hard work, he became the first Indian male athlete to reach a world rank of 40 and Asian rank of 15 in just one year. Some of his achievements include a silver medal at the WT Presition's up Oceania Region in Gold Coast, Australia in 2019 and a bronze medal at the WT President's Cup-Asian Region in Taipei, China in 2018. Most recently in 2021, he won the bronze medal in the men's senior -54kg category at the Russian Open.

Dec 7th 1999 PERFORMANCE IN 2021 HOMETOWN The Indian taekwondo star Aman Kumar Kadyan has won the Rewari ,Haryana bronze medal in Men's Senior -54kg at the recently concluded Russian Open 2021. The 21-year-old lost to the eventual gold medallist Gritsenko Vladimir in the semifinal to earn the third CURRENT TRAINING BASE place on the podium. Peace taekwondo Academy, chatepur, New Delhi Playing in his first ranking event in almost two years, Kadyan showed a fair account of his abilities in Russia. Having earned a bye in the Round of 32, Kadyan started his campaign with a comfortable punitive declaration victory after Russia's Leon Eloian accumulated ten penalty points in the Round of 16. The Indian then followed it up with a win by points gap over Saudi Arabia's Fahad Alsamih in the quarterfinals to assure India of a medal.
