Re: CONDUCT OF TANAUAN SCHOOL OF FISHERIES SPORTS

AND CULTURAL FESTIVAL

Date: 22 November 2022

1. Pursuant to Article 14, Section 19 of the 1987 Philippine Constitution, the state
shall promote physical activities and sports programs in order to develop every
Filipino into a healthy, active, and alert citizen. Additionally, section 21 of
Republic Act (RA) No. 10588 which stipulates that all educational institutions are
directed to promote physical education and undertake regular sports activities to
improve the physical, intellectual and social-being of the youth.

2. In this regard, this office announces the conduct of the Tanauan School of
Fisheries Sports and Cultural Festival on December 12 – 16, 2022 at the TSF
School Ground.

3. Furthermore, as per OASGFO No. 2022-058 Memorandum, the said activities will
be conducted outside class hours to avoid academic interruptions.

4. Enclosed are the list of sports and cultural events, list of TWG and program matrix
for reference.

5. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is earnestly desired.

1. Galaw Pilipinas Mass Presentation

• Composed of 50 members
o 10 G7, 10 G8, 10 G9, 10 G10 and 10 SHS students
• Costume will be based on their team color.
• Criteria for judging is as follows:
o 40% Execution (Mastery of Steps)
o 40% Creativity (Formation and Coordination)
o 20% Over-All Impact

2. Folk Dance Subli

• Composed of 10 members (regardless of grade level)
o 5 Males and 5 Females
• Music will be provided by the organizers
• Criteria
o 30% Interpretation of Dance Piece (Step Patterns)
o 30% Execution (Mastery of Steps)
o 30% Creativity (Formation and Coordination)
o 10% Costume

3. Christmas Modern Dance

• Composed of 10-20 members (regardless of grade level and gender)
• Music must be a remix of Foreign and Pinoy Christmas Song
• Dance performance must be maximum of 5 minutes including entrance and
exit
o Excess time will be deducted from the group’s score (minus .1 point for
every 5 seconds)
o Acrobatic Stunts are not allowed
• Criteria
o 40% Execution (Mastery of Steps)
o 40% Creativity (Formation and Coordination)
o 20% Over-All Impact

• All musical piece must be OPM or Pinoy Christmas Song
• Performance is acapella
• Duration of song is maximum of 5 minutes
o Excess time will be deducted from the group’s score (minus .1 point for
every 5 seconds)

o 40% Musicality (Voice Quality)
o 40% Creativity (Arrangement)
o 20% Over-all Impact
