After the reporter presented the
topic and all its sections, I now
understand how important it is to
fully be aware of the law in order to
discover what you should do or
what you should not do, and what is
wrong and right thing to do to avoid
certain problems. As a citizen of
this country, we should always
remember how important obeying
the law is, it takes a little effort to be
a good citizen. Those sections of
this republic act really emphasizes
what we should not do as a
consumer, what penalties and
sanctions we will receive if we fail
or if we do those certain crimes that
are listed. What really stuck in my
mind is any forms of illegal usage
and buying of electricity, electric
lines and towers are crimes that we
should be aware of. Moreover,
those crimes mention in the
presentation really gives us the
preview of different scenario that
are happening in real life situation
nowadays especially life is very
hard.
As an electrical engineering
student, we must have all the
knowledge regarding those laws
that are connected in our course
especially we will be in that line of
work in the future. Knowing those
things can give us brief knowledge
about how we should deal with
those situations in the future. We
should be fully aware of those laws
and regulations that have been
implemented to have a safer place
and community to work. As an
engineering student being aware of
the law is a great advantage for us
because we already know what we
should do or what we should not to
do, I know our work in the future is
not easy, every day is a challenge
but at the end of the day all the
things that we have learned in
school plays a great role how we do
our work. We must always
remember that we must not be
blind if we see those illegal things
are being done by people who are
close to us even if our family are
not exempted from those laws and
crimes. It takes a small effort to be
a good citizen, especially a good
engineer in the future.
