On 26th of May 2018, the third instalment of the Avengers series was

finally released globally. The movie was titled Avengers : Infinity War. It is about
a group of heroes collaborating with other superheroes across the universe to
try and stop a bigger foe named Thanos. Thanos, who is the antagonist in the
film is on a quest to gather these powerful stones called infinity stones in order
to fulfil his destiny which is to erase half of the population in the universe. I
would like to share a review about this movie which caught a place in my heart.
The movie started out directly after the events of Thor : Ragnarok when
Thanos hijacked Thor’s ship and retrieved the space stone. This resulted in half
of Thor’s people were left murdered including his best friend, Heimdall and his
brother Loki. For me, it was a bit sad that one of the well-favourite characters of
the franchise had to go because he had an appearance since the early
instalments.
Then, there were also scenes on the Guardians of the Galaxy which was a
mood shift from the previous scene. From being sad, you are then giggling from
the goofy behaviours of the guardians of the galaxy. Their old-school soundtrack
from the 80’s would also make you sing along to the tunes. Do expect laughs
from the crowd when the Guardians of the Galaxy show up on the screen.
Besides, there was the action. The movie’s action scenes were quite
consistent throughout. From having small flights between Captain America and
aliens to ultimately having a huge war at the end. In the end, thousands of
soldiers group up in an epic battle against Thanos army which consisted of
thousands of six-legged vicious animal. This scene was one of the most
dramatic battle scenes in my opinion as it makes you feel excited and as if
you’re in the battle with them.
The ending was the best moment of the movie. The movie ended with
Thanos snapping his fingers with all the stones thus resulted in half of the
universe’s population turned to dust. This made everyone emotional as they
showed every character’s reaction during the vanishing happened. The scene
where Spiderman played by Tom Holland got me and a lot of people to have
tears on our faces as he showed a great performance during the scene. Overall,
the ending was truly shocked and unexpected.
In conclusion, I rate this movie 9 out of 10. This movie is a must-watch for
all generation which took 10 years of storytelling to make. Movies like this is a
onetime event in a lifetime. It has a good balance of action, emotional and
comedy. Friendship, courage, love for family are the lessons of this movie. The
movie directors, Joe and Anthony Russo made a fantastic job in directing the
movie. I will definitely go to the cinema to have my second watch of it.
