To recognize a simple paragraph, you have to consider all of its parts - from the
beginning up to the last sentence.

Direction: Read the paragraph below. Write the information being asked in each item. (3pts. each)

I am a Grade four student at Bagong Buhay Elementary School. My favorite subjects are English, Filipino
and Mathematics. I love reading and writing stories. Me and my friend also love Mathematics. We are always
counting numbers together. We also love adding and subtracting two to four digit numbers. My English and Filipino
Teacher is Ms. Chin Diana O. Auxillos. She is also my adviser. Ms. Annabelle H. Quilaton is my Mathemattics
Teacher. I always top the class in their subjects.

1. What is the topic sentence of the paragraph above?
2. List down the sentences that support your answer in number 1.
3. What is the conclusion or concluding sentence of the paragraph?.
