Summary of the research paper 

To summarize everything, the main point of the research is not just to showcase the

effectiveness of Information systems and information technology in corporate

governance and organizations. But it shows the readers why an organization or

company managers should pay attention to the essence of improving and moderating

the Information systems because of their crucial role in a company. Most organizations

centralize all their planning, tasking, production, service, relations, suppliers, and

consumers of products with the help of automated modern Information systems.

This article shows that to keep up and stay with thigh competition in a global market,

most of the company must invest in improving Information technology since there are

many factors where IT and IS are needed to execute a task. An organization can improve

its products and services through enhanced hardware and software applications. With

the improvement of computers, servers, and applications, organizations and company

governance will be more likely to be successful because no matter what the goal of a

company is, technologies are the main components of every business due to the

efficiency and effectiveness that they can provide in the organizations.

2. Learnings and Insights

Based on what I have read, developing and improving the performance of hardware
 stuff such as computers, supercomputers, and servers are essential to be able to

increase the performance and functionality of Information systems which will allow a

company to generate more reliable and accurate data about they use to create for their

long term and short-term goals. Moreover, throughout the years of technological

innovation, there many of them have had a significant impact on the search for

universal methods that will allow us to make our tasks more accessible such as the

introduction and implementation of object-oriented programming, the development of

the internet that opens for E-commerce to be possible as well as the result of

technologies that local information to be replaced by a client-server and multi-level

implementation everywhere. However, some complex problems are common in every

organization in the enterprise. It is the use of IT and IS I where some managers don’t

want to take responsibility because they think that they are not competent enough to

handle the tasks. The three main components of planning are vital to avoid this

problem, which is strategic, technical, and operational. Each of these is important for

technical support in a company and subsystem management.

3. Is this paper helpful to uplift the IT industry in the Philippines and why?

This paper is helpful because not just it gives us information on why we should value the

importance of IT and IS in business industries. But it also gives us insights into what the

corporate world would be without the help of technology in the global market. I do

think that every company here in the Philippines try to give more attention and funds to
improving and developing information technology and system to be able to keep in

global competition. Moreover, it shows the different problems of every company has

encountered due to the lack of development in Information technology and Information

systems as well as due to different business structures, rules and policies, cultures, and

levels of management. It shows that some organizations and managers refuse to solve

them which I think is a lesson to the IT industry in the Philippines that we should avoid

such a scenario happening because it may cause a downfall in one’s organization. Also,

the article showed us that IT and IS are now the substance of business so we have to

make sure that the enterprises and organizations here in the Philippines will be able to

advance and develop our technology for better production, services as well for better

management sales network and stay competitive in a global scale.
