How does your values affect your actions and behavior towards others?
Student’s Answer:

Values are the term we use to judge something, whether it is right or wrong, based on our principles,
beliefs, and teachings that we have learned throughout our lives. When we are in a difficult situation, and
everything is uncertain to us to the point where we don’t know what to do, we hold onto our values to
remember the correct way or decision to assess every problematic situation and event that we face. Our
values characterize what makes us who we are today and how we interact with others.

Considering that values our basis on seeing how our world works, it will significantly affect our actions and
decisions. Knowing and learning how to improve our values will make a difference in the way we show our
behavior toward others because people will be able to perceive who we actually are as a person in the
actions and behaviors that we offer them. For example, when we greet someone in a very unpleasant
manner due to our lousy behavior, this will begin for the people around us to question the morals and
values that we adhere to due to the behaviors that we show them or if we act and decide based on our
thinking and feelings but has not what people will think we will be able to set our own path in life which is
why we should improve our values and develop them throughout our learning experience so we won’t be
causing harm to toward the others due to the wrong actions and behaviors that we show. Everything that
we do comes down to the values to that we adhere. So, by improving our values, people will have a good
perception of how we act, communicate, decide, and interact with others.

To conclude, Values affect a person’s actions and behavior because they guide them. Our values will be
the basis for what we do in our life, and They will not just affect ourselves, but we should consider that
the actions and behaviors we show will also affect others. The moment our actions and behaviors do not
align with the values that we adhere to is when we question ourselves about what we are doing. It is
identical to how people will ask us because people will think that we have no sense of awareness if we do
cause harm to others due to our actions and behaviors, which is improving and learning to develop good
values is essential to be able to interact with the people around us appropriately
