How does your values affect your actions and behavior towards others?
Student’s Answer:

Values are defined by an individual on what is moral for them or not. Their definition of values may be
based on the ethics that formed from the environment they live in. It is subjective to ask someone what
their takes or opinion are regarding on a topic that tackles their values. As people were raised, there are
factors that affect what they believe on what is right or wrong.

Values that we uphold affect someone when we are now the one who affects other based on what we
believe that is right. They remember the moment in their lives on how we meddled with them. They
would now judge their selves and assess if they should change their values that mold them. Our values
drive our actions as we only follow what we think we should do in a particular scenarios.

In conclusion, it is essential to understand and acknowledge your values as an individual because it will
help you to make better decisions. Knowing your priorities can also influence how you perceive others and
what steps are taken in certain situations. Understanding your values will help you see different
perspectives, which may affect other people regarding a particular case.
