REALIZATION, INSIGHT AND LEARNINGS
How does your values affect your actions and behavior towards others?
Student’s Answer:

To begin, what exactly are values? In other words, it is a collection of principles

that humans live by and that guide us in everything we do on a daily basis. But why would
it be significant, and how does it impact how we act and behave in relation to our
environment?

Our behaviour toward everything has always been steered by our value systems. It
outlines what is appropriate and inappropriate for all of us. It's crucial to keep in mind that
it could also cause more harm than good, or vice versa. We have acquired these values
from the surroundings in which we were brought up. We absorb everything around us like
a sponge as children by using all five of our senses. Our parents and families ingrained
value systems in us when we were young. Values that might or might not influence our
behaviour and attitude and how we treat other people. Moreover, values are significant,
but so are the personal beliefs that steer human behaviour in one direction or another.
These act as our road map for enhancing ourselves. It is crucial because they represent
the vast bulk of people's foundation for ethics. Also, through implementing values in our
lives, we would therefore act independently by using the sense of morality we have
developed.

But even so, there are a few instances during which we are blissfully ignorant that
our moral compass is unconscionable to society. This is because we evolved to our
surroundings and did what had been considered necessary to fit in. As a result, prior to
actually negatively affecting the people around us, we should critically analyze our morals
and values and ascertain whether the action is morally acceptable. Seeing as
communication is essential, the most effective way to verify that someone has been

completely mistaken is to start questioning whether something has wronged somebody or

something. We must also keep in mind that not every person was brought up in exactly
the same manner; everybody had different conditions. As a direct consequence, there are
going to be individuals with quite different values than most of us.

Taking everything into account, we all managed to learn value systems from our
respective families and parents as we were growing up. Those very same principles could
very well assist in determining what it is that is good and bad, as well as what is right and
wrong. We each grasp our own values that we firmly believe in, and this is undoubtedly
true. There will be those who worship money above all else. Many other people place a
higher value on their health than they do on their pleasure. We categorize the things that
are much more important to us than those that would let us know what is most important
to us. The key point to remember is that before doing something or coming to a
conclusion, one must first acknowledge oneself because doing so could have an impact
according to how one behaves and treats others. Fully understanding our priorities and
our values is pertinent. consider the fact that we all possess distinct priorities and values.
