What is the importance of having set of values in our society?
Student’s Answer:

The importance of our set of values on the society is because our set of
values represent us. They are our foundation of ourselves, and values make up
what and who we are. So, in short words, values are the ones who play a role on
how society sees us. The set of values we have are the foundation on how society
will see and judge us.

How can we put this into an example? Here is one. Let’s put the situation of
a certain figure running for any government position. Of course, we all know that
the Filipino society will judge him/her based on his set of values on his previous
position. Did he showed good values that made people think he deserves to win or
is it the other way around? This is how our set of values that we show society
makes up its importance.

In conclusion, our set of values is basically our reputation. It is what makes

others think of who we really are. Since they cannot see what is the actual us from
the inside, people will judge depending on our set of values we show in our society.
